The US-Iran conflict has entered another dangerous phase. President Donald Trump has scrapped the proposed 20% Strait of Hormuz transit fee, saying it will instead be replaced by massive investment commitments from Gulf nations. At the same time, he has announced a full blockade on Iran and declared that Tehran is on the path to “total destruction.”
