Two days after a Delhi court permitted murder accused Aaftab Poonawala to defer court proceedings to appear for an examination, an NDTV investigation has highlighted the factors contributing to delays in the trial. Sources say the accused has also sought adjournments for medical appointments, while the cross-examination and presentation of evidence continue, extending the duration of the proceedings.
