Ethereum and Solana recorded the highest cryptocurrency hack losses during the first half of 2026, according to a new security report from Blockaid. The report estimates total industry losses at $1 billion, with Ethereum losing $332 million primarily through code exploits, while Solana lost $326 million largely due to compromised keys and signing infrastructure.
