K Annamalai, coordinator of ‘We The Leaders’, said the initiative will be transformed into a political party once it reaches 50 lakh volunteers. He said the group has already reached 20 lakh volunteers in 73 days and stressed that political decisions for Tamil Nadu should be taken at the grassroots rather than by leaders in Delhi or Chennai.
