Alard University, Pune, welcomed new students at its ‘Deeksharambh 2026’ orientation programme, where speakers urged them to look beyond degrees and build careers around passion, skills and perseverance. IT expert Dr Deepak Shikarpur emphasised that “Passion plus Profession equals Excellence,” citing Shankar Mahadevan, Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar. Other speakers highlighted continuous learning in AI and data technologies, resilience, mentorship, research, networking and discipline, encouraging students to combine ambition with consistent action.
