Japanese Bitcoin treasury firm Metaplanet has denied selling 5,014 Bitcoin worth around $320 million (roughly Rs. 3,053 crore) after the transfer was spotted by blockchain monitoring platforms. CEO Simon Gerovich said the coins were moved between the company’s own custodial addresses as part of a routine operation. Metaplanet continues to hold 43,000 BTC, even as the company’s Bitcoin strategy faces pressure from falling prices and losses on its holdings.
