A Pune-based research study on an Ayurveda-inspired oral therapy for diabetic retinopathy was presented at ARVO 2026, a global vision research conference held in the US. The study evaluated Timirex-R, a nanotechnology-based formulation developed by Rasyani Biologics, as a potential treatment to reduce dependence on repeated eye injections. Researchers reported improvements in retinal swelling and structural changes among patients, highlighting the potential of combining traditional medicine approaches with modern scientific research.
