A steady stream of Opposition leaders and public figures-including leaders from the CPI(M), CPI, AAP, Samajwadi Party, and Shiv Sena (UBT)-have visited Delhi’s Jantar Mantar to express solidarity. Actor Omi Vaidya has also appealed to people not to let Wangchuk’s protest end in tragedy.
