WhatsApp is reportedly rolling out a shortcut that lets iPhone users access Apple’s microphone modes directly during calls. According to WABetaInfo, the feature is available with WhatsApp for iOS version 26.27.74 and is expected to expand to more users over time. The shortcut reportedly opens Apple’s built-in microphone menu, allowing users to switch between Standard, Voice Isolation, Wide Spectrum and Automatic modes. Unlike Android, WhatsApp is said to rely on Apple’s existing audio processing instead of its own system.
