WhatsApp recently teased an upcoming Scam Alert feature. Now, the Meta-owned platform seems to be working on another privacy-focused feature to protect users from unofficial clients web. The messaging platform is said to be testing a new warning for Android users that appears when they connect their account through an unofficial WhatsApp Web client. It shows up on the Linked devices screen and asks users to switch to the official WhatsApp Web.
