The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has approved 24 key proposals, including the Lokmata Ahilyabai Matrushakti Yojana, which will provide lifetime free travel on state-run roadways buses for women aged 60 and above. The Cabinet also approved free bus travel for women, along with one accompanying person, during the Raksha Bandhan festival.
