Former Tehelka editor Tarun Tejpal has been sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment in the 2013 sexual assault case. The court also imposed a ₹5 lakh fine and granted him two weeks to surrender. Reacting to the verdict, Goa Police SP Sunita Sawant, the Investigating Officer in the case, said, “We will ensure justice.”
