Tension erupted in Tamil Nadu’s Thanjavur after VCK supporters blocked a road over the removal of party banners. A passerby, identified as Akash, allegedly objected to the roadblock and later had a confrontation with police. Police said an SSI used minimum force after the youth allegedly abused officers, but the youth then allegedly slapped the officer back. The incident was captured on video and has gone viral.
