A young man, Sandeep Yadav, lost his life after his motorcycle hit a deep pothole on a road in Surat’s Godadara area. The impact caused him to lose control of the bike, leading to the fatal accident. The incident, captured on CCTV, has reignited concerns over the city’s deteriorating road infrastructure. Residents allege that multiple deep potholes and non-functional streetlights along the 150-foot main road have made the stretch extremely dangerous, particularly during the monsoon.
