The Supreme Court has sought a fresh report from the NTA on implementing key recommendations for NEET reforms, stressing that changes must be permanent rather than ad-hoc. As the government introduces tighter question-paper checks, replaces 600 experts and strengthens security, the court’s focus remains on accountability, institutional safeguards and restoring students’ confidence in the examination system.
