Naman Bansal’s journey from a 6 CGPA at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology to an SDE-2 role at Microsoft shows how skills and persistence can help overcome academic setbacks. Unable to participate in campus placements, Bansal strengthened his profile through competitive programming, internships and industry experience. After being rejected by Adobe for an internship, he went on to work at MakeMyTrip and D. E. Shaw before joining Adobe as a full-time professional and eventually Microsoft.
