Addressing supporters in Karur, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK chief Vijay said he entered politics solely to repay the people’s faith in him and thanked voters for supporting his party in the 2026 election. Claiming that the election result was a response to those who had caused pain and hardship, Vijay urged people to continue backing TVK and deliver what he described as a “permanent blow” to political opponents.
