The debate over Chennai’s second airport is back at the centre of Tamil Nadu politics.
The proposed Parandur Greenfield Airport, which had received in-principle approval from the Centre and was expected to ease future congestion at Chennai airport, now faces an uncertain future after the TVK government led by Chief Minister Vijay announced it would not proceed with the project.
