A gang of thieves carried out a ATM heist in Odisha’s Balasore district by uprooting an ATM with a rope tied to their Thar SUV before fleeing with the cash. The robbery, captured on CCTV, unfolded in just minutes under the Khaira police station limits. The suspects later broke open the machine at a secluded spot and escaped. Police have recovered the damaged ATM, launched an investigation and are examining CCTV footage to identify the accused.
