Following the violence and large-scale protests at in the Capital on July 20, the Delhi Police have decided to overhaul its intelligence-gathering mechanism. According to sources, Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar has directed the intelligence wing-the Special Branch-to gather and analyse at least 10 critical pieces of information prior to any major proposed protest in the Capital.
