A historic religious event unfolded in Kerala as the world’s tallest Hanuman idol arrived at Pournamikkavu Temple in Vizhinjam, Thiruvananthapuram, on the first day of the Malayalam month of Karkidakam. The 27-foot-tall idol, symbolising the 27 nakshatrams, has been installed on a 12-foot pedestal representing the 12 zodiac signs and 12 suns.
