A fresh political controversy has erupted in Karnataka over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with the BJP and JD(S) alleging irregularities in the enumeration process. Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi and H.D. Kumaraswamy have claimed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are not distributing enumeration forms as per Election Commission guidelines, alleging forms are being handed out at community halls and mosques instead of door-to-door.
