Over 1 lakh bikes have reached Haridwar as the annual Kanwar Yatra enters its final phase. Large numbers of Kanwariyas continue to arrive in the city to collect holy Ganga water before returning to their hometowns. Authorities have stepped up security and traffic arrangements as the pilgrimage draws to a close.
