The iPhone 18e could receive a RAM upgrade to 9GB, according to analysts Jeff Pu and Ming-Chi Kuo, with the change also expected for the standard iPhone 18. The additional memory may improve on-device Apple Intelligence performance despite rising DRAM prices driven by AI demand. Earlier reports indicate the handset will retain a 6.1-inch OLED display, a 60Hz refresh rate and a single 48-megapixel rear camera, while adopting Apple’s A20 chipset built on TSMC’s 2nm process.
