The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has refuted social media claims alleging a breach of members’ and students’ records, including examination data. Calling the allegations false, baseless and malicious, the institute said its databases remain secure and there has been no data breach. ICAI urged students, members and other stakeholders to ignore rumours circulating on social media and rely only on official communications for authentic updates regarding examinations and institute-related information.
