Pralhad Joshi has formally assumed charge as the Union Minister for Education. This leadership change follows the resignation of former minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The ministry faces scrutiny over competitive examination irregularities and student demands. Joshi also holds portfolios for Consumer Affairs and New and Renewable Energy. The Cockroach Janta Party withdrew its protest after Pradhan’s resignation.
