Heavy rainfall and flooding in south Gujarat have disrupted classes in several areas, prompting schools to adjust their academic schedules. The state education department has prioritised syllabus completion, with schools allowed to use Saturdays and special classes to recover lost teaching time. Officials also said replacement textbooks have been provided to students whose books were damaged or lost.
