Heavy and continuous rainfall has caused severe waterlogging on the Goa-Mumbai Highway in Raigad district of Maharashtra, with shocking visuals showing large stretches of the busy national route completely submerged under water. Commuters travelling along the highway have been forced to navigate cautiously through flooded sections, with traffic movement significantly slowed across multiple stretches. The waterlogging has disrupted the flow of both private and commercial vehicles on one of Maharashtra’s most critical highway corridors.
