Germany has emerged as the leading jurisdiction for crypto licensing under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation, accounting for 57 authorised crypto-asset service providers ahead of the July 1 deadline. ESMA’s interim register also shows France accelerating approvals in recent days, while several EU member states are yet to issue a single MiCA licence, highlighting uneven adoption of the bloc’s unified crypto framework.
