Hollywood star George Clooney has sharply criticised the Donald Trump administration, describing the US government as a “kakistocracy” — a term referring to rule by the least qualified people. Clooney made the remarks at the Venice Film Festival, where he is receiving the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement.
