CJP said it will pursue legal action over alleged police excesses during the July 20 protests and has launched the ‘Sakshi’ portal to gather evidence from participants. The group also claimed an understanding with the government on withdrawing FIRs against protesters and organisers and said it is awaiting a written agreement.
