The Cauvery water dispute has reached the Supreme Court once again, with the DMK filing a fresh petition seeking the immediate release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu.
The petition asks the Supreme Court to strictly enforce its 2018 judgment on the Cauvery water-sharing dispute, arguing that Tamil Nadu has not received its allocated share despite the court’s verdict and subsequent directions issued by the Cauvery Water Management Authority.
