The Bihar Education Department has restored half-day Saturdays in all government schools from August 8, bringing back an earlier practice. Schools will function from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays, while Saturday classes will end by 1:00 pm. Separate dispersal timings have been fixed for primary and senior students under the revised schedule.
