A new report reveals a security flaw in the Hide My Email feature that could allow attackers to uncover users’ real email addresses. The vulnerability has remained unresolved for more than a year. Apple is reportedly aware of the issue. The flaw was reportedly spotted by Tyler Murphy, co-founder of the Easy Opt Out service. In March 2026, the company reportedly said that it had addressed the issue through a recent system update.
