A 50-year-old woman died in a tragic lift accident at Surya Towers in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh. The elevator allegedly moved downward while its doors were still open, trapping the woman and leaving her critically injured. Identified as Vanitha, she was reportedly in the lift with her daughter and grandson, who managed to get out before the lift moved. Vanitha later succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.
