The controversy over the reported restriction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Facebook post has taken a new turn.
According to sources, Meta has written to the Centre outlining enhanced safeguards for content posted by the Prime Minister and other prominent public accounts. The company has reportedly informed the IT Ministry that such posts will now undergo additional oversight, including multiple levels of review by senior officials.
