Freedom Wheels is an indigenous wheelchair-accessible electric mobility platform designed to restore independence for wheelchair-dependent individuals. Unlike conventional mobility solutions that require users to transfer from their wheelchair, it enables safe travel and independent driving directly from the wheelchair through rear-ramp entry, secure docking and locking mechanisms. Developed through over a decade of lived-experience-led innovation and engineering, the solution enhances access to education, employment, healthcare and daily life while offering an affordable, scalable and inclusive mobility alternative for India.
