UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2026 candidates have approached the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), challenging eight questions from General Studies Paper-I and disputing the provisional answer key. They claim some answers are incorrect, two questions have no valid option, and certain questions fall outside the syllabus. The disputed questions could affect more than 16 marks, potentially influencing candidates near the cutoff. CAT has issued notice to UPSC, which must respond before the next hearing on October 8, 2026.
