What was promised as a budget holiday in Pattaya allegedly turned into a kidnapping nightmare. Thai police have arrested five Indian nationals accused of abducting three fellow Indians and holding them hostage in a house in Pattaya. Investigators say the victims were lured to Thailand, tied up, assaulted and their families were allegedly sent fake injury photos to extort ransom. Thai authorities claim the operation was masterminded by a Pakistani national. The victims were rescued after the Indian Embassy alerted local police, leading to a successful raid.
