In an exclusive interview with NDTV, actor Gul Panag said the debate goes far beyond one film, arguing that Punjab should not repeatedly be forced to prove its patriotism. Recalling her experiences growing up during the militancy years, Panag warned against banning films that explore difficult chapters of history and called for open conversations instead of censorship.
