Speculation is growing over a possible reshuffle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Council of Ministers following the formation of the BJP president’s new team. New alliance partners could be accommodated, with the DMK, NCP (SP) and Akali Dal among the names being watched for a possible NDA tie-up. There is also speculation about representation for Shiv Sena, AAP turncoats in the Rajya Sabha and new faces from several states. Women and younger leaders could also get greater representation in the next reshuffle.
