Independent MP Pappu Yadav was targeted during a press conference in Delhi after a man allegedly threw a shoe at him, triggering chaos at the venue. The incident led to a scuffle between Yadav’s supporters and the accused before police intervened and detained him. According to sources, the accused identified himself as Sumit, a resident of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, and reportedly linked his protest to Pappu Yadav’s remarks on the law concerning the alleged theft of donations meant for the Ram Temple. Police are investigating the incident and are also verifying reports that the accused may have been carrying a knife.
