MCC has introduced new counselling rules for NEET UG and postgraduate medical admissions from the 2026 academic session. The changes include no physical reporting for candidates opting for seat upgrades, online resignation of allotted seats and online document submission for NRI quota applicants in deemed universities. The Medical Counselling Committee has also started training sessions for state authorities and medical colleges to implement the updated system and improve transparency during the admission process.
