Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge has triggered a political controversy with his remarks on exam paper leak protests and demands for ministerial accountability. When asked whether any minister would resign over alleged recruitment exam irregularities, Kharge said, “Let them go on a hunger strike for 25 days. If they don’t stop, we’ll lathi-charge them, and then I’ll resign.” The comment has drawn sharp criticism amid growing concerns over alleged irregularities in state police recruitment examinations.
