Pakistan’s Supreme Court has stepped into one of the country’s most sensitive political controversies by ordering former Prime Minister Imran Khan to be moved from Adiala Jail to Shifa International Hospital. The three-member bench directed authorities to transfer Khan within 48 hours and ensure he remains under medical supervision until at least the next hearing scheduled for September 16.
