Hungary has relaxed its cryptocurrency regulations by removing additional validator requirements that went beyond the European Union’s MiCA framework. The policy change comes after the country’s finance minister acknowledged that the earlier rules had disrupted the local crypto market and prompted firms to halt operations. The revised approach is expected to support the return of crypto businesses, including Budapest-based exchange CoinCash, which is preparing to resume services after pursuing MiCA authorisation.
