A flash flood triggered by intense overnight rainfall has caused widespread destruction in Jammu and Kashmir, leaving homes, shops and vehicles severely damaged.
NDTV’s ground report from the affected area shows massive boulders crashing into houses, roads washed away, vehicles buried under debris and an Army post hit by the force of the floodwaters. Rescue teams and heavy machinery are working to clear debris and restore connectivity as residents recount the terrifying night when floodwaters rushed down from the hills.
