Google has clarified the fallback behaviour of Gboard Rambler after users reach its usage cap. The Gemini-powered voice input feature continues processing speech through its offline mode, retaining filler-word removal, punctuation, capitalisation and basic cleanup. More advanced tools, including stylistic rewrites, tone changes, text shortening and complex conversational edits, need an internet connection. Rambler is currently available on Pixel 11 series devices and supports several languages, including English and Hindi. Users can also switch to Google’s standard voice typing option.
