Four IIT Bombay professors — Prof. M. Ravikanth, Prof. Deepankar Choudhury, Prof. Ruchi Anand, and Prof. Debabrata Maiti — have been recommended for the prestigious J.C. Bose Grant by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation. Recognised for outstanding contributions in chemistry and civil engineering, the researchers have advanced fields including functional materials, earthquake engineering, antibiotic resistance studies, and drug discovery. The five-year grant honours senior scientists driving impactful research and innovation in India.
