D Y Patil International University (DYPIU), Pune, welcomed its new students through Diksharambh 2026–27, featuring addresses by Padma Vibhushan awardee Sonal Mansingh and EKA Mobility Chairman Dr Sudhir Mehta. Speakers encouraged students to pursue their passions, embrace lifelong learning and balance humanities with STEM education. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Manish Bhalla highlighted DYPIU’s focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, while GST official Neeraj Kansal urged students to use AI thoughtfully and prepare for a changing job market.
